Moldovan foreign affairs minister receives Ukraine's special representative for Transnistrian settlement

Chisinau, 18 January /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi today received Ukraine’s Special Representative for the Transnistrian Settlement Viktor Krizhanivski, on a working visit to Moldova, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

The two officials exchanged opinions on up-to-date issues on the agenda of the settlement process, with special attention paid to priority goals for 2018.

The sides welcomed the recent appointment of Franco Frattini as special representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office. At the same time, the officials voiced hope that the Italian chairmanship of this organization would help maintain a positive dynamic outlined under the Austrian OSCE chairmanship in 2017.

At the MAEIE headquarters, Ambassador Krizhanivski also had a pertinent discussion on this subject with State Secretary Tatiana Molcean.
