Moldova, Tajikistan mark 25 years from establishment of diplomatic relations

Chisinau, 20 January /MOLDPRES/ – Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirodjidin Aslov, exchanged congratulatory messages on 20 January 2018, on occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Tajikistan, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

The head of Moldovan diplomacy noted that mutual respect and trust were main milestones that allowed for a considerable advance of Moldovan – Tajik relations within quarter of a century, while valuable experience of diplomatic relations has been a sound foundation for further advancement of bilateral relations.

At his turn, Tadjik counterpart, Sirodjidin Aslov, appreciated good relations of friendship and bilateral cooperation within 25 years from establishment of diplomatic relations and expressed his conviction that they would preserve their ascendant character.

The diplomatic relations between Moldova and Tajikistan were established on 20 January 1993.
