Moldovan south – eastern district's free economic sub – zone to be modernised

Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ – In 2018, the Causeni Branch of the Balti Free Economic Zone (ZEL) will be renovated through construction of networks, communications, access road and planning of the territory, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Related to it, the Cabinet of Ministers decided today to include project: Opportunities for investment attractiveness into south development region economy, on list of priority projects funded from the National Fund for Regional Development 2017 – 2020.

The project total cost is MDL 18.6 million, of which 8.5 million being allocated by the Causeni district council.

The Economic Free Sub – Zone Causeni has an expansion capacity of 8.5 hectares and it hosts a car wiring production company from 2017, where work over 200 employees.
