Moldovan PM pays working visit to United Arab Emirates

Chisinau, 29 January /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip pays a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 29-30 January 2018, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

PM Pavel Filip will have meetings with Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Federal National Council Amal Al Qubaisi, as well as other UAE officials.

More official documents are to be signed within the visit.

The diplomatic relations between Moldova and the United Arab Emirates were established on 21 December 1995. So far, four treaties in the diplomatic, investment and air sectors have been signed between the two states.

The political, economic and investment ties between the two countries have been recently boosted. Thus, Moldovan and Emirates officials paid more mutual working visits; at the same time, a Moldovan-Emirates business forum was organized.
