Moldovan foreign affairs minister, counterpart from United Arab Emirates sign memorandum of understanding

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi today had a meeting with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, within an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, the Foreign Affairs European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has said.

The two ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral political consultations between the Foreign Affairs European Integration Ministry of Moldova and Foreign Affairs Ministry of the United Arab Emirates.

In the discussions that followed, the counterparts ascertained a positive trend in the Moldova-UAE ties. The sides expressed confidence that the opening of the diplomatic representations of Moldova in Abu Dhabi and Dubai would contribute essentially to strengthening the bilateral dialogue in all spheres of mutual interest.
