Moldovan government considers 98 per cent of petitions received in 2017

Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/ - The State Chancellery throughout 2017 considered 3,862 petitions by citizens, of which 450 were received in electronic format, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
At the same time, 3,781 out of all petitions have been examined and 81 are under examination. Depending on the character of the request, the petitions received from citizens were considered and redirected to ministries, government’s specialty bodies, central and local public authorities competent with their settlement.
Following a topic-related analysis, decision-makers found out that, most often, citizens tackled problems dealing with the work of the law-enforcement bodies, demanding material assistance, labour remuneration and pensions’ recalculation. Thus, 2,461 petitions were redirected to ministries and other central administrative authorities and 653 petitions – to local public administration authorities. The State Chancellery’s subdivisions considered 616 petitions.
Data’s analysis shows that the most important petitions were received in February – 610; the maximum number of citizens received in audience was recorded in August – 57. In all, 437 citizens were received in audience in 2017.
Also, the official sites of Moldova’s government, www.gov.md, and of the State Chancellery, www.cancelaria.md, were updated to meet the needs of permanently informing citizens about the consideration of petitions and results of the audience.
