Moldovan parliament takes note of MP's resignation

Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/ – The legislature today took note of resignation of MP of People's European Party Moldova (PPEM), Iurie Leanca.

Also, Parliament declared a vacancy for a deputy from PPEM faction.

According to the request submitted, MP deposited his mandate after being appointed as Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration.

Iurie Leanca is a diplomat by profession and within years he held positions of Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Prime Minister and Deputy Speaker. At the end of 2017, he was proposed for a newly created position in Government, the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration.
