Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today maintained its vote for three drafts submitted by President Igor Dodon for reconsideration

The three documents were re-adopted with the votes of 52 lawmakers.

President Igor Dodon returned to parliament for reexamination and discussion a law which provides for the completion of the Labour Code with norms on extending from one to two years the period of suspending the individual labour contract in case of taking care of a sick family member, a document which establishes that, at a proposal of the general assembly of fruit-growers’ associations, local councils will be able to decide the inclusion in the built-up areas of the plots of land from fruit-growers’ associations, by changing their purpose and status, as well as a law which sees amendment and completion of the legislation on the single central securities depositary.

The documents will be submitted to President Dodon for promulgation.

Under the Article 93, paragraph 2, of the Constitution, the Moldovan president has right to sent a law to parliament for reexamination, if having any objections to it, in a period of two weeks at the most. If the parliament maintains its earlier passed decision, the president promulgates the law.
