Ambassador of Japan in Chisinau encourages pressing ahead with reforms, European integration of Moldova

Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi received Ambassador of Japan to Moldova today.
According to the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service, the two officials discussed the agenda of bilateral relations, voicing confidence in the fostering of the economic and sectoral dialogue. In particular, the Moldovan diplomacy head thanked Ambassador of Japan Masanobu Yoshii for the valuable contribution of the Japanese government to the modernization of diverse sectors from Moldova through assistance programmes. Ulianovschi highlighted the important role of Japanese investments Moldova is benefiting from.
For his part, Masanobu Yoshii reiterated Japan’s openness for strengthening the bilateral political relations and encouraged the continuation of reforms and the European integration of Moldova.
