Moldovan parliament invites young people to internships for 2018

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/- The Moldovan parliament offers internships for the 2018 spring session, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

Graduate students, postgraduate students and PhD students, young academic and scientific specialists, civil society representatives can apply for internships. The parliament offers 28 seats in the standing committees’ secretariats and within the departments of the legislative secretariat.

The trainees will participate in the process of analyzing, drafting and administering legislative acts, the legislative expertise procedure, parliamentary committee meetings and other activities within the subdivisions of the parliament’s secretariat.

Applicants should be young people up to 30 years, who speak Romanian and an international language, have no criminal record or other legal restrictions on working in public institutions. Young people must have a minimum 8.5 average at the last academic session or, in the case of employees, work experience of up to 2 years within a non-governmental organization. At the same time, they do not have to be husband/wife, relative up to grade III, of one of the officials of the parliament secretariat subdivision.

The competition file will include:

- Application form

- Letter of recommendation

- Letter of intent

- Copy of the identity card

- Copy of the diplomas, statement of marks

- Copy of the certificate on knowledge of an international language (in case of bachelor/master studies, the graduation diploma will serve as certification)

- Copy of workbook

- Criminal record or self-declaration

- Copy of the mandatory health insurance policy valid for the traineeship period

- Medical certificate (form 086-2/e).

The internship program in the Moldovan parliament lasts up to 3 months and takes place twice a year, during the ordinary sessions of parliament (February - July and September - December).

The parliament has been running internships since 2014.
