No Moldovan citizens among victims of plane crash in Russia

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- Among the victims of plane crash in the Russian Federation there are no Moldovan citizens. The head of the press service of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry, Alexandr Roitman, made the statement today.
The Moldovan Embassy in Moscow contacted the Russian authorities, and today they announced that there are no Moldovan citizens among the victims.
At the same time, following the crash, Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu sent condolences to relatives of the dead. “I learned with sorrow the news of the aviation tragedy near Moscow. Condolences to the families and friends of the victims”, he said.
A passenger plane of the Russian company Saratov Airlines crashed Sunday afternoon in the Moscow region. The aircraft had 71 people on board and took off from Domodedovo airport, to the town of Orsk, near the border with Kazakhstan. About 10 minutes after take-off, the apparatus disappeared from radar screens. After the crash, no one survived.
