Finnish foreign minister’s visit agreed to be organised in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/ – Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, had a telephone conversation today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Timo Soini, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

There were reviewed issues of bilateral political cooperation, as well as within international organisations, during the discussion. Foreign Minister, Tudor Ulianovschi, expressed appreciation for the entire support of Finland for Moldova’s process of modernization and implementation of reforms in the context of Moldova – EU Association Agreement. It was welcomed the willingness of Finnish partners to continue supporting twinning projects in more domains.

It was agreed to organise the visit of Foreign Minister, Timo Soini, in Chisinau in June 2018, as to continue the dialogue on issues of common interest.
