Moldovan Reintegration Office launches campaign "A book for your education"

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/- The campaign „O carte pentru educația ta” (A book for your education), entitled “Donate a book, invest in the future”, was launched today. It aims to support pupils and other children from the left bank of the Dniestre. The campaign will last until the end of March 2018, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

Everyone who wants to back children from Moldovan schools in Transnistria are invited to contribute with donations of books, textbooks and other teaching materials.

It is also worth mentioning that the action is meant to implement the provisions of point 6 of the Protocol Decision “On ensuring the functioning of the Moldovan schools with teaching in Latin script” of 25 November 2017, signed by political representatives in the negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement from Chisinau and Tiraspol, which provides for the possibility to supply the educational institutions with textbooks, teaching materials and other means necessary for the educational process.

The books can be donated to the eight Moldovan schools studying in Latin script from the Transnistrian region through the State Chancellery Reintegration Office, which is located within the government building.
