Moldovan minibus involved in road accident in Romania

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/- A minibus with 12 Moldovans was involved in a road accident near Vaslui county, Romania, on 14 February.

Spokesman of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry Alexandr Roitman said that after the impact, two Moldovans needed medical intervention, but no person was hospitalized.

“The Consulates of Moldova in Iasi and Bucharest were notified and contacted local authorities. After their intervention, the Moldovans continued their way to Moldova with another minibus”, he said.

According to Romanian police, the impact occurred after the minibus driver did not adapt speed to traffic conditions, lost control of the vehicle and overturned.

The police investigate all circumstances of the case.
