Six school races suspended due to heavy snow in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/- Six school races from five districts of the country were suspended today due to the snow and icy roads.

According to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, over 130 pupils were unable to attend lessons, due to this.

According to the data, it is about school races to educational institutions from Nisporeni, Cantemir, Cimislia, Ialoveni and Ungheni districts.

The State Hydrometeorological Service issued yellow code of precipitation, in amounts of up to 15-20 liters per square meter, 20-25 liters per square meter in some areas. In the north and centre, snow and sleet are expected, and in the south it will rain. The warning is valid until midnight.
