Moldovan Socialists submit simple motion against minister of economy

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/- The faction of the Party of Socialists today submitted the first simple motion of 2018 to the parliament. The MPs showed their discontent with economic policy of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, led by Chiril Gaburici.

According to PSRM lawmaker Vasile Bolea, the state institution is making political games, and the situation in the field is a disastrous one.

“The year 2017 became the year of economic failure for Moldova, due to the policy of over-taxation of capital investments. People who risked and started business in Moldova expect long-term measures, and not electoral promises. The economic outcomes of 2017 and prospects for this year show that the Economics Ministry is not interested in what is happening in the Moldovan economy. For this reason, submitting this simple motion is our approach to determine the minister to participate in a debate, to tell us the truth about the situation in national economy”, he said.

The motion was signed by 24 Socialists, and the parliament will decide when it is reviewed.
