Pupils from Moldovan arts institutions to receive higher scholarships

Chisinau, 10 May /MOLDPRES/ – The gifted pupils studying in republic boarding high schools and those in forms IV – IX of the National College of Choreography will receive increased scholarships by 5 per cent commencing 01 January 2018. The Government has approved a decision on it today, as to ensure proper functioning of institutional system within culture, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

As such, pupils in forms II – IV will receive MDL 335, and Category I scholarship for talented pupils in forms V – IX will be MDL 500. Also, teenagers in forms X – XII, will receive scholarship of the first category worth MDL 640. There will be allocated MDL 75,800 for respective increases.

We recall that Executive has recently raised scholarships of pupils and students by 5 per cent to stimulate academic performance and increase attractiveness of higher education and technical institutions in Moldova.
