Moldovan Democrats' faction has new lawmaker

Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/ - Veaceslav Nedelea, elected on the lists of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), today held the MP seat of PDM, which had remained vacant after the resignation of lawmaker Nicolai Dudoglo.
Lawmakers and Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu congratulated the new MP of the Democrats.
“We have a new colleague among us. I inform you that the Constitutional Court has validated the MP mandate of the alternate lawmaker on the PDM list, Veaceslav Nedelea. Welcome to Moldova’s parliament; we wish you success, nice achievements and only in the interest of the country,” Candu said.
Nicolae Dudoglo on 2 May submitted an application to the parliament, thereby informing that he was resigning from the position of MP, as well as from one of head of the PDM regional organization from the Gagauz autonomy.
Veaceslav Nedelea is 54 years old and is historian and jurist by profession. Nedelea is member of the PDM National Political Council and manager of the Expo-Business-Chisinau Free Economic Zone.
