Moldova's Public Services Agency to register two types of enterprises

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Services Agency (ASP) will register social enterprises and social insertion enterprises starting from today.  

According to ASP, public associations, foundations, religious cults, private institutions and/or private persons can be among founders of this type of enterprises. Also, limited companies and production cooperatives can get status of social enterprise and social insertion enterprise.    

The social enterprises and social insertion enterprises will benefit from measures of support and encouraging both on behalf of the state and on behalf of local public authorities.  

The social enterprise carries out social entrepreneurship activities to settle social problems of community interest, and the social insertion ones are social enterprises, the goal of which is to create jobs and employ, as a priority, persons from disadvantaged categories of the population.
