Renovation works of healthcare centre in north – western city of Moldova to complete in 2018

Chisinau, 23 June /MOLDPRES/ – The renovation works of Healthcare Centre Anatolie Manziuc in Drochia, with energy efficiency, are almost completed. The work process could be followed on site by a journalists group within a documentary visit organised this week by North Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord) and German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ).
According to project, Healthcare Centre Anatolie Manziuc creates optimal conditions for offering qualitative medical services, applying energy – efficient technologies. "As a result of programme implementation, it will contribute to energy efficiency of institution's building by 21.4 per cent yearly, as well as to improvement of medical diagnostic services and improvement of healthcare indicators in the region", explained specialist in ADR Nord, Veronica Savin, interviewed by agency.
"The aim of this project is to improve access to quality healthcare within district healthcare system. And professionalism and competence of our specialists will be even more effective in optimal conditions for activity," said Emilia Lopatenco, head of Healthcare Centre Anatolie Manziuc in Drochia.
At his turn, Ion Dascal, head of Drochia district, said that local authorities have encouraged and supported project at Healthcare Centre Anatolie Manziuc from very beginning. "Throughout work, we aimed to be strictly in accordance with technical project and public money to be directed efficiently and correctly," said Ion Dascal for agency.
The total value of Drochia project is around MDL 9.7 million. The funds for works allocated from National Regional Development Fund (FNDR), project being implemented by ADR Nord. Over 60 per cent of planned activities are currently being carried out, while economic operator performing work has assured that programme will be completed by the end of 2018.
