Political representatives for settlement of Transnistrian conflict meet in Moldova's left bank city

Chisinau, 23 June /MOLDPRES/ – The political representatives for Transnistrian conflict settlement, Cristina Lesnic and Vitalie Ignatiev, met on 22 June at a working meeting in Dubasari, with participation of Dubasari district leadership, deputy head of Chisinau territorial office, representative of Cadastre Department of Public Services Agency (ASP), mayors and economic agents from some localities in Dubasari district (villages Cocieri and Dorotcaia), as well as some landowners.

According to the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service, the course of land reclamation procedure has been approached in discussions, providing necessary consultations to overcome some disagreements arising within implementation process.

Also, there were established next steps to be taken to ensure the right of ownership and land use by Ribnita – Tiraspol road by the farmers in Dubasari district.

The discussions also referred other issues aimed at further safeguards for activities of farmers, not to be restricted to other rights deriving from land use rights, such as harvesting and transportation of agricultural products without any impediments.

The participants have opened up and continue to streamline negotiation process to ensure fundamental rights and guarantees of citizens.
