Chairman of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly pays working visit to Moldova

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/ – A delegation of Parliamentary Assembly of Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) pays a working visit to Moldova on 24 – 28 June 2018, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The delegation led by Chairman of OSCE PA, George Tsereteli (Georgia), member of OSCE AP Group for Moldova, consists of OSCE PA Secretary General, Roberto Montella (Italy), and counsellor of OSCE PA Chairman, Loic Poulain.

The guests will have a meeting with the head of the Delegation of Parliament of Moldova to OSCE PA, Sergiu Sirbu, and delegation members. They will also discuss with Deputy Chairman of Commission of national security, defence and public order, Eugen Carpov.

The agenda also includes meetings with President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, PM Pavel Filip, deputy PM for Reintegration, Cristina Lesnic, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, as well as discussions with representatives of international community. The delegation members will also visit Tiraspol.

The last visit of OSCE AP Group for Moldova to Chisinau took place in March 2017.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe is composed of representatives of parliaments of 56 countries.
