Chisinau, 25 June /MOLDPRES/- The National Patrol Inspectorate today launched special operation "Bus", in which patrol agents will check the vehicles involved in public passenger transport.
Natalia Golovco, a press officer of the National Patrol Inspectorate, said that the "Bus" operation aims to reduce road accidents involving vehicles driven on public passenger transport and detect violations of the requirements of the legislation in force on passenger transport operation.
The operation will last until 6 July.
Today, on R28 M3-Comrat route, patrol inspectors check traffic cars to identify drivers who evade responsibility, especially violations through road traffic monitoring cameras.
Previously, the PDM leadership asked the Interior Ministry to ensure greater transparency of the national campaigns and thematic actions they organize in traffic and to communicate on the institution's website the following details: theme, area and duration of the action, so as to take precedence over infringements, not to lure drivers or to trap them.
