Head of Diaspora Relations Office announced resignation

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/- The head of the Diaspora Relations Office, Olga Coptu, announced her resignation in a message posted on a social network.
She said “the request for resignation is an assumed decision ". She thanked the BRD team and said that "there is a lot to be done in the field of Diaspora, migration and development, and certainly in Moldova this area must be a priority".
“I remain firmly convinced that no country strategy can be done without taking into account our diaspora citizens, "Coptu wrote.
Coptu was appointed as head of the Bureau in July 2016, after leaving the post of Valeriu Turea.
Coptu is 37 years old and graduated from the Faculty of History of the State University of Moldova and the faculty of Political Science and International Relations of "La Sapienza di Roma" University of Italy.
