Decision on cutting prices for electric energy to be published in Moldova's Official Journal

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ - A decision by the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) on cutting prices for electric energy will be published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) on 29 June.
The decision sees reduction of the electricity price by ten per cent on average and will enter into force on 1 July.
More exactly, household consumers served by „Gas Natural Fenosa Furnizare Energie” (Gas Natural Fenosa Energy Supply) will pay 1.79 lei for one KW/hour against the present tariff of 1.99 lei. The prices will be cut from 1.82 lei to 1.60 lei for one KW/hour for the consumers whose installations are connected to the medium-tension electricity distribution networks (6-10 KV).
Lower prices will also be paid by people who consume the electric energy provided by the company „Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord” (Electric Energy Supply North). Thus, household consumers from north Moldova will pay 1.91 lei for one KW/hour, by 0.21 lei less than at present. The price will be cut from 1.84 lei to 1.66 lei for one KW/hour for the consumers whose installations are connected to the medium-tension electricity distribution networks (6-10 KV).
