Pupils belonging to ethnic minorities take first exam at additional school-leaving examination session in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - Over 200 pupils belonging to ethnic minorities today take the first exam in the Romanian language and literature at the 2018 additional school-leaving examination session.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the Education, Culture and Research Ministry’s press service, Ion Mischevca, said that the examination had started at 10:00.
„The results of the additional examination session will be posted at the School-Leaving Examinations (BAC) Centres on 25 July. Afterwards, during 48 hours, they could be contested. The consideration of the contestations will take place on 28-31 July and the results will be published at the BAC Centres on 1 August. The issuance of diplomas will take place on 2 August,” Mischevca noted.
More than 4,000 candidates who failed to pass all exams will take the BAC examinations at the additional session. At the same time, 15 Republican Evaluation Commissions have been approved, which will be made up of 169 teachers assessors.
