Moldovan pupils get three medals at International Olympiad in Mathematics

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - Pupils from Moldova have got three bronze medals and three honourable mentions at the International Olympiad in Mathematics, held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on 3-14 July 2018.
According to the Education, Culture and Research Ministry, the bronze medals were awarded to three pupils of the Orizont theoretical lyceum from Chisinau.
The honourable mentions went to pupils of the 9th and 11th forms of the same lyceum.
As many as 615 competitors from 114 countries participated in the International Olympiad in Mathematics this year. Moldova was represented by six pupils and two teachers.
