Anticorruption officers, prosecutors detain 10 persons within corruption case in Moldova

Chisinau, 17 July /MOLDPRES/ – The anticorruption officers and prosecutors have detained 10 persons today in searches conducted at several bus stations and stops of Moldova.

Interviewed by agency, spokesman for the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA), Angela Starinschi, has said that among detainees, there are heads of some branches of State Enterprise "Garile si Statiile Auto" (Bus stations and stops), as well as dispatchers, controllers and others in charge for verification of national and international transport.

"Several employees are to be escorted to CNA headquarters for further hearings after searches have been completed. The operation continues," said Starinschi.

The officers and anticorruption prosecutors of CNA have arrived today at several bus stations and stops of Moldova. The searches take place in several corruption cases involving more employees of the State Enterprise "Bus stations and stops". The recordings take place in some cities of Moldova, at about 50 addresses, including in Chisinau. The actions target both heads of territorial branches and employees at different levels.
