Chisinau, 17 July /MOLDPRES/ - The taxes paid to notary, as well as to the Public Services Agency for processing succession will be cut from 2,000 lei at present to 351 lei. The leader of Moldova’s Democratic Party (PDM), Vlad Plahotniuc, made statements to this effect at the end of PDM’s weekly meeting today.
According to Plahotniuc, the diminution of taxes will be made through removing some acts, as well as through the compensation by the state of tax sums.
"At present, citizens pay about 2,000 lei to notary and the Public Services Agency; have found solutions for these taxes to be cut down to 351 lei. This important diminution of the sum paid will be made through the elimination of some acts, as well as through compensation by the state of tax sums, which have been paid so far. The measure regards strictly the procedures for successions, not also the ones for sale,” Plahotniuc noted.
The Democrats’ leader specified that the legislation needs to be amended in order to reduce the taxes. “I have suggested that the colleagues from the faction of the Democratic Party urgently submit an initiative in parliament, and it should be voted till the end of this session, so that citizens can benefit from cuts as soon as possible,” Plahotniuc added.
