Moldovan enterprises, along with Romanian ones, could launch on larger markets

Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ – The companies of Moldova, along with the Romanian ones, could cooperate to access larger markets such as China or Japan. The topic was discussed at the meeting of the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Mr. Chiril Gaburici, with representatives of the National Union of Romanian Employers, paying a visit to Chisinau municipality.
The meeting also analised means of implementing cross-border projects of major interest for business environments of Moldova and Romania. The initiation of such projects will allow economic operators from both countries to participate in economic missions, international fairs and business meetings, stated the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure (MEI) in a press release.
During the talks, Chiril Gaburici presented the facilities offered by the free economic zones (ZELs), the industrial parks and IT park. The members of Romanian delegation were interested in information technologies and came up with initiative to create a virtual platform for training IT specialists.
Minister Chiril Gaburici thanked Romanian businessmen for their interest in investing in Moldova, reiterating that the Government of Moldova is open to development of new partnerships.
Currently, there are 1,678 companies with Romanian capital in Moldova, the neighbouring state holding the third position after volume of investments made into national economy.
