Ordinary meeting of working groups for health care held in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ - A meeting of the working groups for health care took place at the Chisinau-based headquarters of the OSCE Mission on 17 July, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The delegation on behalf of Chisinau was led by the state secretary in the medical assistance sector at the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, coordinator of the group Rodica Scutelnic.

The participants in the meeting continued discussions on potential mechanisms of introducing medicines in the Transnistrian region. The Moldovan side explained the measures due to be undertaken and the requirements economic agents from the Transnistrian region, which import such medical articles and devices, should comply with.

At a proposal by the Moldovan side, the participants in the meeting agreed on the organization, in the near future, of a working meeting of experts in the pharmaceutical sector, in order to carry out a comparative analysis of the concerned classified list, in order to establish subsequent actions needed to be taken concerning these issues.
