Two people from southern Moldova died of carbon monoxide intoxication

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/- Two people from Cimislia died yesterday, after they were poisoned by carbon monoxide from the stove in the house.
According to the Inspectorate General for Emergency Situations (IGSU), the victims were found in their own dwelling in Munteni, Cimislia district.
The man was 66 years old, and the woman was 64 years old.
IGSU press officer Liliana Puşcaşu said "firefighters urge people to check the sources of heating before their operation, and if they are defective, they do not use them in order not to endanger their lives."
According to IGSU data, 41 cases of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide intoxication have been recorded in Moldova since the beginning of the year, after which 18 people died.
