Victim of traffic accident in Romanian county brought to Moldova

Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/ - A crew of the Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD) from Moldova on 21 November brought one of the victims of a traffic accident which had occurred in the Vrancea county of Romania. The crew, made up of physicians and para-physicians, safely carried a 58-year-old woman in a stable state of medium seriousness with severe face injuries.
„The person was monitored on the way, without having complications. She was hospitalized at the Emergency Medicine Institute from Chisinau on late on 21 November for subsequent medical care,” sources of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) said.
At the same time, IGSU, with the involvement of Moldova’s General Consulate in Iasi, made all needed procedures for the transportation of the corpse of the person who died in the wake of the same accident. The corpse of the 47-year-old woman was brought to Moldova by a company contracted by authorities and is to be buried by her relatives.
A traffic accident with the involvement of Moldovan citizens took place in the Vrancea county on 19 November, when a coach registered in Moldova overturned. One person died and another six received medical care in the wake of the accident.
