Moldovan Romanian governments agree on roadmap concerning joint projects

Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/ - The governments of Moldova and Romania, at a today’s joint meeting, agreed on a roadmap on joint projects, with establishing deadlines of implementation and decision-makers in charge of each sector, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Also, the sides signed more bilateral agreements in diverse fields, which will boost the relations between the two countries:  

1. The agreement on cooperation in the tourism field implies the carrying out of joint projects on investments to promote the tourism.  
2. The protocol on cooperation in the education and culture field sets the way of cooperation between the publishing houses and libraries, on the dimension of  cultural heritage.
3. The memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the sector of consular assistance and protection for the people with dual citizenship. (it aims at coordinating actions of the diplomatic missions of Moldova and Romania, for providing needed assistance to citizens at risk on the territory of third countries).  4. The memorandum of cooperation in the field of relations with the Diaspora regards the exchange of experience and joint actions to ensure Diaspora’s access to education in the mother language.  
5. The memorandum of understanding on the promotion of entrepreneurship, economic and corporate cooperation (implies a string of measures to facilitate the development of start-ups, as well as identifying sources of financing of programmes and projects on starting new businesses.)  
6. The memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of business on third markets (implies cooperation in order to stimulate the employment of labour force, internationalization of companies and boosting the development of both countries’ economies). 
7. The declaration of intent between the Defence Ministry of Moldova and National Defence Ministry of Romania on the creation of a framework of intensified training in the perspective of the setting up of a joint unit between the Army of Romania and National Army of Moldova.  
8. The action plan in the field of health and medical sciences provides for cooperation between medical institutions, mutual study visits, technical assistance and exchange of information.   
9. The joint declaration of the government of Romania and government of Moldova on the removal of roaming tariffs.   
10. The contract on financing on the development of the national transport system in the North-Eastern zone of Romania, in order to improve the supply with natural gas, as well as ensure capacities of transport to Moldova. 
11. The protocol on the creation and work of joint patrol teams at the common state border. 
12. The protocol on cooperation between the Agency for Rural Investment Financing from Romania and the Agency of Interventions and Payments for Agriculture of Moldova.

The next joint meeting of the governments from Moldova and Romania will be held in Chisinau, with the sides due to decide on the period.
