New hospital from south Moldova autonomy's administrative centre to start working in next two months

Chisinau, 28 November /MOLDPRES/ - Some sections of the emergency medicine department from Comrat (administrative centre of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia – UTA Gagauz-Yeri) will be opened in next mid-December and the diagnostic centre will start working in January 2019. The head of the department for health and social protection at UTA Gagauz-Yeri, Alexei Zlatovcen, has made statements to this effect for the regional media.
“The enterprise which must deliver equipment started bringing the needed equipment and it plans to end the process in one week. We will do our utmost, so that the sections of hospitalization and pediatrics, the maternity hospital begin working in next December,” Zlatovcen told the website www.gagauzinfo.md.
Referring to the diagnostic centre, Zlatovcen noted that, in this case, “it is necessary to sign additional agreements with the National Health Insurances Company, as well as to introduce amendments to normative acts of the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.”
“We have to pass through bureaucratic stages; yet, I believe that, as of January 2019, the centre will be able to start working,” the head of the department for health and social protection at UTA Gagauz-Yeri, Alexei Zlatovcen added.
The construction of a new building of the Comrat district hospital, where the emergency medicine department will work, was fully financed by the government of Turkey. The building was endowed with equipment and furniture also with means of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA). Attending the inauguration of the building was President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who visited Moldova in last October.
