Foreign minister meets Moldovan diaspora in Azerbaijan

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/- Support of Moldovan citizens both in the country and abroad remains one of the priority goals on the agenda of the Moldovan government and diplomacy. Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Tudor Ulianovschi made the statement at a meeting with Moldovan diaspora in Azerbaijan, the MAEIE’s press service has reported.
The official has reviewed the main actions taken by the government to reform and modernize the country, implementation of national projects, and reconfirmed that the support of Moldovan citizens both in the country and abroad remains one of the priority goals on the agenda.
Also, the talks focused on active participation of the members of the Moldovan community in the cultural events organized by the Embassy, such as the celebration of the Culture Days, Marţişor, art exhibitions, presentations of the Moldovan films at the European film festivals, concerts and the festivals with the participation of the Moldovan artists in Baku.
In this context, the official praised the work of our countrymen in promoting national identity, values and traditions, maintaining close relations with the country and promoting the positive image of the Republic of Moldova.
