A Doctor for You campaign to be extended in Moldova for 2019 too

Chisinau, 4 January /MOLDPRES/ - The campaign, A Doctor for You, will be extended for 2019 as well and mobile teams of physicians will move to all settlements of Moldova.
Data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) shows that, during 2019, specialists endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, neurologists and cardiologists will provide consultations to residents from rural settlements of the districts of Orhei, Straseni, Anenii Noi, Calarasi, Cantemir, Causeni, Dubasari, Ialoveni, Hancesti, Nisporeni, Cahul, Floresti, Drochia, Falesti, Ocnita, Rascani, Sangerei, Soroca, Glodeni, Leova, Ungheni, Soldanesti, Stefan Voda, Taraclia, Telenesti, Briceni, Ceadir-Lunga, Comrat, Vulcanesti and Donduseni.
Also, children from Straseni, Anenii Noi, Criuleni, Dubasari, Falesti, Comrat, Telenesti, Briceni, Ocnita, Sangerei and Edinet will be consulted and will be treated within a mobile stomatology, endowed with specialized equipment and instruments for medical interventions.
At the same time, the residents of the districts of Straseni, Briceni, Nisporeni, Soldanesti, Ialoveni, Edinet, Soroca, Sangerei, Calarasi, Hancesti, Causeni, Rezina, Orhei, Donduseni, Rascani, Drochia, Glodeni, Taraclia, Leova, Ocnita, Floresti, Cimislia and the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia will benefit from radiological examinations for detecting tuberculosis and lung cancer.
Women from the rural settlements of the districts of Cimislia, Straseni, Rezina, Anenii Noi, Cahul, Soldanesti, Causeni, Comrat, Floresti, Stefan-Voda, Taraclia, Soroca, Falesti, Vulcanesti, Drochia, Glodeni, Cantemir, Donduseni, Rascani, Basarabeasca, Ocnita, Edinet, Criuleni, Dubasari, Balti city, Briceni, Orhei, Sangerei, Ialoveni, Hancesti and Chisinau municipality will be able to make breast screening through mobile digital radiography.
Statistics by MSMPS shows that, in 2018, about 38,686 people benefited from free of charge medical services within the campaign, A Doctor for You.
