Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - The emergencies receptions unit and the consultative section of the Calarasi district hospital have been recently opened with the support of the council of Prahova county, Romania. Partners from Romania provided 27,000 euros for this project.
Attending the inauguration was also a delegation from Prahova, led by the head of the county council, Bogdan Toader. The agenda of the delegation from the Prahova county included also a trip to the Hancesti, Straseni and Cimislia districts, where more projects backed by Romanian partners were visited.
The support by Prahova authorities will have continuity. “The next joint project provides for the repair of the pediatrics section and the maternity hospital, as well as the façade of the hospital,” the head of the Calarasi district, Sergiu Artene, said. The Prahova county council is willing to come up with a contribution of 40,000 euros for these works.
„Prahova loves Bessarabia. O proof is also the fact that all projects on backing partners from beyond the Prut river are always voted unanimously, and besides Hancesti and Calarasi, we have many joint projects and twinning relations in Moldova,” the deputy head of the Prahova county council Ludmila Sfarloaga, said.
At present, the Prahova council has established cooperation ties with the districts of Hancesti, Cimislia, Leova, Basarabeasca and Calarasi.
