From 1 February, every citizen to benefit from free medicines - Moldovan PM says

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip said that starting from 1 February, citizens will benefit from a series of free medicines, the decision was published yesterday in the Official Journal of Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
“I'm glad that as of 1 February, practically every Moldovan man, every citizen will benefit from free medicines. We are talking about 148 common international names, of which one drug will be given free of charge," Filip said.
The premier asked the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection to ensure an active communication and provide more information on the matter, so that citizens know how to get free medicines.
Filip noted that over the past three years, the government has managed to double the list of compensated medicines, reaching 148 drugs. At the same time, the age of children receiving free medicines was increased from 7 to 18 years.
