Almost 2,500 parking places to be set in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 04 February /MOLDPRES/ – Almost 2,500 parking places will be arranged in Chisinau municipality. The announcement was made today by the acting general mayor of Chisinau municipality, Ruslan Codreanu, during the weekly meeting of the Chisinau city hall.

According to Codreanu, there will be set 450 – 500 new places for car parking in each sector of the Moldovan capital.

"We have asked the persons in charge in praetor's offices to identify with the inhabitants of the capital the streets and the courtyard blocks where it will be set parking. The tender procedure will start soon to obtain the necessary works. The arrangement will begin as soon as it gets warmer," said Ruslan Codreanu.

For the arrangement of the parking places, it was allocated the amount of MDL 10 million from the local budget, or MDL 2 million for each sector.
