Moldovan fruits exhibited in Germany

Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/- Many fruit and grape producers from Moldova exhibited their products at the most important International Specialized Exhibition in Europe - Fruit Logistics 2019, which began today in Berlin, Germany.

The participants aim to promote the Moldovan fruits and present Moldovan producers and exporters as reliable suppliers, a press release by the Moldova Fruct Association says.

During the three-day event, meetings and negotiations with importers, distributors and traders of fresh fruits and vegetables from the European Union, the Middle East and the Russian Federation will be held.

At the same time, the Moldovan producers will have a lot of important meetings with suppliers of equipment and technologies for the post-harvesting stage of the fruit. On the last day of the exhibition, the 10 participants will visit a modern distribution center that delivers fresh fruit and vegetables daily in Berlin's retail outlets.

Iurie Fala, Chief Executive of Moldova Fruct Association, said that Fruit Logistics is a professional platform that facilitates setting relations with potential partners, studying consumer preferences and gaining experience of promotion and presentation of fruit.

Fruit Logistics is the largest specialized exhibition in Europe with over 3,000 exhibitors and 75,000 visitors. The Moldova Fruct Association’s participation in the event is possible under the USAID Project, Agricultural Performance in Moldova.
