Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/ - The management of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) today launched an appeal to the electoral contenders to avoid violent and denigrating messages and not involve minors in the electoral campaign. The PDM deputy leader, Vladimir Cebotari, made the urge.
According to Cebotari, PDM demands that the political formations train their party members and carry out a clean electoral campaign, without hatred. “I urge also the political leaders who do not have patience or do not like to listen to critical questions to abstain from violent measures, just as it happened at one of the meetings with voters on the last days,” Cebotari said.
The Democrats’ deputy leader noted that PDM had done all needed trainings ahead of the campaign. “We ask the colleagues to renounce the hatred and violent messages and carry out a clean campaign, based on communication,” Cebotari said.
He added that, since the beginning of the electoral campaign, the PDM caravan had had over 330 meetings with voters, in which more than 22,000 citizens participated.
