Pensioners of Moldovan capital to get Easter material help

Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/ – The pensioners and persons with physical deficiences in Chisinau municipality, which are registered with the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Healthcare (DGASS) having a pension lower than MDL 1,450, will get a material aid worth MDL 100 for Easter holidays. The announcement was made today by the Chisinau city hall.

The unique material help is granted by the Chisinau city hall and it can be received at the post offices, according to residence visa, starting Monday, 22 April, 2019, presenting the identity card (ID).

Also, over 3,600 persons will get MDL 500 of material aid. Particularly, the aid will reach 1,872 elderly, lonely people, beneficiaries of the Home Social Welfare Service within DGASS. The amount of MDL 500 will receive over 800 persons with sight problems and about 900 hearing impaired persons living in Moldova, Chisinau territorial branch. The beneficiaries in that category can already get their money at post offices.
