Public sector employees of Moldova to enjoy 9 May mini-vacation

Chisinau, 8 May /MOLDPRES/ - The public sector employees will have a four-day mini-vacation on the occasion of the 9 May holiday, when the Victory Day and Europe Day are marked in Moldova.

Thus, given that 9 May is a day-off under the law, the government ruled that the public sector employees do not go to work on 10 May either. Instead, these employees will recover this day on 18 May, declared working day.

As a result, in the last two weeks, the public sector employees worked only four days, benefiting from two mini-vacations, on the occasion of the Easter Holidays and 1 May and 9 May days.

The 9 May day will be marked by a string of events in Moldova. More political parties have already informed that they would carry out special programmes on this occasion.
