Diaspora Moldovans to receive support for business development

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/- Moldovans living abroad, who want to start or develop a business abroad, will receive support from the Diaspora Business Connection project which was launched today in Chisinau by the Association of Moldovan Businessmen Abroad (AOAMP).
Association President Alexei Repede said today that the project aims to support and promote small and medium-sized Moldovans of diaspora. For this, the AOAMP will organize a series of events in the states where Moldovan communities are the most numerous, such as Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Russia. The initiative was launched following several requests from Moldovans who started or want to start their business abroad and have difficulties.
Olga Postovanu, project coordinator of AOAMP, said that people who want to participate in the project will be able to register online for free. Entrepreneurs' guides in Romanian will be published for them for the project target countries. The guides will include information on legal framework in the reference country, investment opportunities and assistance programmes, employment, registration fees. In addition, program applicants will benefit from business consultancy.
The first event will take place in mid-June in Rome, Italy.
