Moldovan leu to appreciate against euro

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ – At the beginning of upcoming week, the national currency (MDL) will appreciate against the European single currency (EUR), according to official exchange rates issued by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.

Thus, on Monday, 20 May, EUR will cost MDL 20.03, with MDL 0.06 less than today. Alongside, the US dollar (USD) will add MDL 0.01 up to MDL 17.94.

Also, the Romanian leu (RON) will depreciate by MDL 0.02, down to MDL 04.20.

The value of the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble will remain unchanged: RUB – MDL 0.27, and UAH – MDL 0.68.
