Two Moldovan citizens involved in road accident in Italy

Chisinau, 23 May /MOLDPRES/- Two citizens of the Republic of Moldova suffered after a bus with tourists overturned yesterday morning in Italy.

Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Alexandr Roitman said that one of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova involved in the accident did not need medical care and the other received medical attention and then went on his way.

The accident occurred on Firenze-Siena highway in Italy, between Badesse and Siena localities. According to Italian media, there were 60 people in the vehicle. Following the accident, a person died and another 37 passengers were seriously injured, according to the preliminary report announced by the Italian authorities.
