Government allocates 3 million lei to liquidate consequences of torrential rainfalls in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 May /MOLDPRES/ – The Government allocates almost MLD 03 million from the Intervention fund (FI) for liquidation of consequences of torrential rainfalls with hail and strong wind, which took place on 18 – 19 May and 10 – 11 March, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, it will be allocated an amount of around MDL 01 million to villages Samananca and Donici in Orhei district, where heavy rainfalls have affected agricultural lands, houses, gardens and some road segments. For rehabilitation of the roads, bridges and fences destroyed from villages Untesti, Graseni, Parlita and Manestisti in Ungheni district, it will be distributed almost MDL 1.8 million. Also, it will be directed the sum of about MDL 447 thousand for roof rehabilitation of the Cetireni Healthcare Centre, Ungheni and the roof of former secondary school in Ocnita city.
The Government FI is intended to finance urgent expenditure related to liquidation of consequences of natural disasters in case of epidemics, bonfires and other crisis situations.
