Moldovans to be able to travel to Milan by bus

Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Economics and Infrastructure Ministry informs that the first route of passenger road transport between Chisinau and Milan was launched on 30 May. The itinerary passes through the cities of Padua, Vicenza and Verona.

According to the ministry, the buses will set out from Chisinau on Thursdays and Sundays at 7:45 and 9:40, respectively, and - from Milan on Saturdays and Tuesdays.

The trips will be made by Euro 5 buses and the cost of one ticket is 70 euros. In Moldova, the tickets are sold in Moldovan lei, in accordance with the exchange rate of the National Bank on the day of the ticket’s sale.

Only a half of the ticket’s price will be paid for children up the age of 5 years and 30 per cent of the ticket’s price – for the children with ages between 5 and 10 years. The tickets to Milan can be bought at the South Bus Terminal from Chisinau.
