Prosecutor's office announces to send report to Moldovan leadership on investigations within bank fraud cases

Chisinau, 02 July /MOLDPRES/ – The General Prosecutor's Office (PG) has announced on Tuesday, 02 July that it has sent a report on investigations into bank fraud cases to the leadership of Moldova, including the President, Speaker of Parliament and Prime Minister.

According to the press service of PG, the report contains info on investigation process, actions of authorities involved in investigation, international legal assistance and results achieved so far.

"In this context, PG assures both the society and authorities that the criminal prosecution, which is a process of collecting evidence, is advanced and that all diligence and expertise of the law enforcement bodies will be carried out in order to complete it" says statement of PG.

According to Moldovan legislation, several state authorities, including the Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (ARBI) and Money Laundering Prevention and Control (SPCSB), are involved in the bank fraud investigation process.
